Played Bump in the Dark with some friends at GenCon and had a BLAST. I’m a monster of the week stan so it was a tough sell but I really loved the Brindlewood elements. Excellent game, and I’m happy to be connected!

The problem with creative pursuits is that I get super fixated in a kinda hypomanic way and it's only because I've learned how to convince myself that it's not worth the consequences that I'm not recording a hundred more guitar takes. I haven't always been very good at convincing myself.

We shouldn't be too down on a game like Dungeons & Kittens winning an Ennie even though it lacks imagination or innovation. We should be down on it because the game re-introduce the civilized-savage dichotomy into a setting about talking adventure cats on the first page of its introduction.
