Pro-tip for Main Stage at #AnimeNYC: if they're saying standby is full and only pre-reg can go in, check the panel registration page even if it says it was full previously. I did so for the Masquerade and got in, as all of a sudden it was available to add to my schedule.
Another #AnimeNYC thought: they really need to raise the screens in panel rooms so that everyone can actually read the subtitles on videos, since they're almost always on the bottom of the screen. Anyone too far back can't read anything because there's no slope to the floor.
