One of the last remaining shoes to drop, and one that isn't likely to come down, is institutional faith that people who gained reputable certification aren't capable of engaging in widespread fraud, abuses, and conspire with fascistic capture as many institutions are in denial about their role.

The hardest part of being hospitalized to start 2026 was watching my family's faces when we were being told my diagnosis and immediate prognosis. I have a pathological aversion to disappointing my loved ones. I have a dim view of my worth. I carry this around with me like a millstone.
