If you do this you can join the secret group chat where we all say "did you get your tracks from Forest?" "Yeah they're perfect, no one has ever grasped and supported my unstated musical goals so completely." "Yeah and he's nice, too. It's disgusting."

Apropos of this: if we're friends or friends of friends and you want session bass tracked hit me up. Things are kinda slow on the local music front and I'm wrapping vocals on the Adzes LP. I want to do more bass stuff, death metal or black metal or hardcore to even country or triphop.

anyway if you ever want someone to write about wrestling and labor, well, i am very anxious about rent money, have organized a union, and know enough to not try to sell a story about two unrelated deaths (both of which we still have little information about) as a broader issue

Bandcamp day is plenty annoying on its own but you should definitely still grab the A Lake Within the Earth tunes. If you like death metal but you wish they'd listened to more Coheed and Dashboard Confessional then you're in for a treat.

I'm gonna be annoying about this for BC day tomorrow - check out these killer tunes if you like death metal/deathcore/metalcore. I had a blast playing sesh bass on them, and I want these guys to be huge alakewithintheearth.bandcamp.com/album/walled...

I have received dozens of cards and letters all asking the same thing: "When will there be a new issue of 'Low Effort,' America's favorite quarter-sized 'zine of not-very-interesting photography?" The answer is: "today."

The 5th issue of "Low Effort." It is a quarter-sized (4.25" X 5.5") zine on white paper. Under the title is a photograph of some leaves floating in a puddle. The tree from which the leaves fell is reflected in the water. Real artistic shit. The type you could never hope to understand. Below the photo are the words "We're all having a really good time."

Tentatively happy with Abe on drums for Pearl Jam? Maybe he can put a little funk and groove back into their live performances and he doesn't seem be playing with naked contempt for the recorded parts which is a cool departure from Matt's style.

Do not carry a cold beverage in their presence. Politely decline any drinks or sweetmeats they may offer. Keep a plain iron nail in your left trouser pocket and a sachet or paper twist of coarse salt in your right shoe. Enter and leave your chair moving clockwise. Follow up with a thank-you note.
