If someone is doing real damage and demonstrates a sustained lack of interest in accounting for it then, imo, the time for talking about “accountability” is over. Then it’s time for talking about how to best attack and undermine their power to do that damage. Changing their heart is not a factor.

I'm currently feeling overwhelmed by the beauty of this background painting from the 1946 Looney Tunes short "Baseball Bugs".

I forgot to mention, many of my customers have severe social anxiety so I try to make my table as self serve as possible and we have short elevator pitches behind each book (but also deliver live pitches) and will flip thru/hold items for folks in fursuits or who are otherwise not able to do it.
