I had forgotten that most social media communists are just aggrieved members of a fandom rather than people who read or do anything. Oops.

Whether we should try to SHAME VOTERS. Shame makes people move away from the group shaming them and towards the group who accepts them. Shame is the WORST persuasion strategy.
We need to send some ICE agents to Death Row for this one day. Shit like this is already a capital offense if it’s done with the intent to kill, and we know these guys revel in the harm they inflict upon their victims. They show us, every day.

Literally nothing The Atlantic has published in the last decade on higher ed describes the academic world I live in. It’s an insult to my colleagues and it’s absolutely incomprehensible to my students.

The stories they relentlessly promote almost always focus on "DEI overreach" at elite higher ed orgs.
