New study published! ๐ŸŒClimate change is reshaping European forests, conifers losing ground to broadleaved species. By the end of the century, dominant species could shift dramatically. ๐ŸŒณForests aren't just responding to climate change. They're being reshaped by it. www.nature.com/articles/s43...

Not every day you get to share a paper published in @science.org . Yesterday โ€œClimate change will increase forest disturbances in Europe throughout the 21st centuryโ€ was published. In short: wildfires, windstorms and insect outbreaks are projected to increase across Europe as the climate warms ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฒ

Just received an email saying that it's not advisable to include the following words in future applications for research funding to the US DOT. Here we are.

1. Climate change
2. Greenhouse gas emissions
3. Emissions
4. Racial equity
5. Gender identity
6. Diversity, equity and inclusion
7. Environmental justice
