Drawing created by Danielle Koren, c.1979, in the art therapy studio at Netherne hospital where she was compelled to live. This drawing on scrap paper is very small, found among Edward Adamson’s files of personal correspondence which contain many cards & letters from individuals sent after release

Look I know I am not saying anything new here but I am *raging* that a bunch of self-proclaimed 'feminists' are in fact doing the work of patriarchy by trying to force us all back to a place where women must conform to a narrow set of stereotyped standards. FUCK OFF. I LIVED THROUGH THE '90S.

I think we should all be particularly proud of (and I'm not the first to point this out) is that they have also been prompted to lay out in detail, via quotes, all the most serious facts and allegations against him, to a readership that was probably oblivious to them.

Really think this is what irked me about him the most tbh. Just a very ugly writer with no real flair or stylistic quality, whose outsized influence in the industry was also indicative of rock bottom standards and scrape-the-barrel prose

Being dead is not some kind of state line where, if you can just cross the border, all your trespasses evaporate. The flowers still wither where you poured salt. The living continue to suffer the consequences of your actions. People are entitled to say, he made the garden worse, and now he is gone.
