It's really not a difficult equation: if something happens because of the status quo and you do nothing to oppose it, you are complicit, plain and simple. Keeping your politics to yourself like they're some sort of sacred personal thing does nothing but enable the systems which oppress the world.

btw Kanye did a song Heil Hitler and no one stepped in to oppose his tour(s), which is ongoing. In fact, Kanye is scheduled to perform at one of the stadiums Macklemore has been stopped from being at.
