Right, a couple things here. If that’s the winning shot, why are there loads of golf buggies around him and why is one of them moving close to him during the shot? Also, how did the ball stop dead that quickly?

It's not easy to build a good University department. There are many pressures on academics and there are all uncertainties of recruitment and hiring, and of nurturing talent. Typically it takes many years. But you can destroy it pretty much in an instant.

So it's farewell to the History subject area at the University of Hertfordshire, not the first nor the last to go. One of the best departments in the country, just extinguished like a snap of the fingers. Think of the waste. (1/2)

The funniest - and least discussed - aspect of this is that Farage, having reportedly told RefUK he'd only lead them if compensated for the £1m a year income he had outside politics, pocketed their five million, then kept earning from outside interests at the same rate anyway. He scammed even them.

Important, because Farage's defence for not declaring Harborne's £5m 'gift' has always been very specific: he did not decide to stand until 3rd of June. Turns out this deal was struck mid-May (confirmed by RefUK) and facilitated by Farage's other big donor, convicted felon 'Posh' George Cotrell. 🧐

I got yet another email from JD Vance (allegedly). Presumably because I had a US social security number in 1970 - 72, when I was at Yale. They really sound a bit desperate aboutb their prospects at the midterms. Let's hope they lose badly and MAGA fades into the past like a bad dream.

If you cannot accept that what Trump has done over the last year and a half is starve Ukraine of air defense, and put off any new aid for as long as possible, so Putin can terrorize Ukraine from the air for as long as possible--you cannot accept reality.
