I never worked with Tony Fauci directly but he was still kind to me, always giving a sympathetic smile as my pregnant ass walked down the hallway & congratulating me after I had my kid. The way these people are treating someone who has given so much to our country is shameful & abhorrent.
Friends. This is not difficult. View every big change at NIH through the lens of the regime’s obvious and stated priorities and agendas. Diminishing the role of support letters is, they think, a way to prosecute Red state transfer and blue state punishment.
fwiw, I think the reason is that in fiction/movies/etc AI is basically a way to talk about slavery. billionaires are extremely enthusiastic about the fantasy of owning slaves. the fantasy works both as "AI will be your slave" & "AI will allow us to discipline workers such that we can enslave them"

How could they? Achieving billionairehood requires that you inflict pain on vast numbers of people. 13/

ICE is failing to do even the most cursory background checks (or they are ignoring the results), and it's getting people killed. David Brouillette, who killed Johan Guerrero in Maine on Monday, has repeatedly abused and threatened his family members. There are records of this, but ICE ignored them.
