I should be clear that the architecture of Bluesky makes it the social media place I most like to be. I'm not on social media to be an influencer or instigator; I want to hang out with folks and have an enjoyable time. This place delivers on that. I hope it continues to do so for a long time.

Just great. Meant to be heading to Welly today. It's 0550 & train is due to depart at 0615. The loco still hasn't hooked up yet. It takes at least 20 minutes for the connection & carriage checks.

How exactly is a new baby boom in Aotearoa NZ going to helpful when folk can't afford food, housing, education, health care, there's huge unemployment, wage stagnation, and general misery? You know what encourages folk to have kids? Great social investment, secure income, and fewer RW twats

Crikey it actually worked! Just cooked a potato casserole in the electric Toyota Hilux during a road trip and it's freaking delicious. The oven dinged just as I arrived to the rapid charger. Why aren't we all doing this??!!
