I'll be on Jeopardy today! It filmed at a really hectic time in my life and I barely remember it, so it'll be fun to watch and see what happened. :) Find out where to watch: www.jeopardy.com/watch Or watch it the next day on Peacock or Hulu.
one of my favorite projects to date: for Slate's 20 Years of 30 Rock package, I compiled *every* original song written over its seven seasons, from Jenna's shortest snippets to the full-length "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah." here's The 30 Rock Mixtape, all in one webpage: slate.com/culture/2026...

there was a 1936 proposal to build a concrete ramp structure up to the midpoint of the eiffel tower so you could drive up it. and i, for one, think it’s a shame that there was never a trend of making world monuments more car-accessible.
when i periodically check in on what twitter has become, the thing i notice (aside from the ubiquitous slurs & hatred), is how much discussion there concerns people as groups rather than individuals. a fundamentally fascist framework for understanding the world, and not consigned only to the RWers.

best part of getting texted an anonymous political survey is being able to say stuff that would get my account zapped if i posted it
david brooks: you find yourself here, wyd?
"Jon Ossoff, my advice to him is, if you start calling your political opponents Nazis, maybe it's time to shut up. That's just not what we do here in this country." -- David Brooks, this evening. Remember, Brooks still gets very handsomely rewarded by the fossilized media for saying shit like this
