This is a complete distraction. Ireland cannot build a nuclear power plant fast enough to matter. Making a decision to do so would excuse punting on all the wind and solar things it can and must do. This is a lobby project of the tech industry to have something to say when building data centres.

A certain AAA studio told employees that their internal gen AI was trained only on local data, but whenever said employees tried to generate an image of a woman holding a gun, it generated Lara Croft. The studio was not Crystal Dynamics, and had never worked on the Tomb Raider IP in any capacity.

The sheer amount of data gen AI needs is in the hundreds of thousands, you can only get that by scraping
i can't reply to each QRP critiquing what i wrote but i am genuinely glad it's brought up debate/concern about how we look at art. for those considering it in good faith, thank you. there's no point arguing with willful misinterpretation, but i did want to respond to these common points for now:
