Experienced a traveling first today: our plane had to cede our spot in the takeoff line because of a passenger who would not sit down.
I'm a curmudgeon for sure, but I don't know that I like AAUP making political endoresements, especially not in primaries. [They endoresed the right candidate.]

I finished the book yesterday and saw it today. The Odyssey ruled; I loved it. I really liked how Nolan adapted it to make all of the subtext the text text. It works for 2026, but this movie would have been stupid AF in ancient Greece.

This was a great post, but I have to admit I don't recognize this image at all and I've been IMO a hardcore internet user since 2004.

I am really hyped to see this movie tomorrow. I've seen the trailers for it and a lot of billboard/posters. I only know it's a "DEI movie" because of the complainers on Twitter.

This is so fucking unreal. The Baltimore I grew up in had 300 murders a year; enough to make it a regular contender for the murder capital, as they said.
