Kind of mad at Michigan, tbh, the Tigers trounced the M’s today.

In other Michigan news, the state looks set to elect it's first transgender lawmaker. Joanna Whaley won her Democratic primary and will compete in November for a state house seat, beating a primary opponent who tried and failed to disqualify her for not running under her deadname

I’m telling you this as a political scientist. The person who is electable is the one who is elected. This can and does change over time. Any and all speculation about “electability” is either puffery or anxiety and is often both.

a lot of you really ought to watch Occult Bolshevism (2018) imo. has become one of my favorite horror films. 72min mostly in 1 room with 7 people just talking. and it's spooky as shit. pair with Luz (2018) for a great sub-2.5 hour chamber horror double feature. check alt text for tips and tricks
