The Labour Party’s women’s conference on 26/9/26 was an embarrassing farce, with only 200 delegates of the 1,000 normal attendance (no major unions) in protest of the Labour Party’s shameful abandonment of trans people following the legally absurd ruling of the Supreme Court in FWS in April 2025.

Yes, it's all about *psychological positioning* and *perception*. Trans campaigners need to get back to presenting trans women and girls no different from other women and girls, and challenging abuses as abuses. Sloganising, transition stories, and legal details don't cut it.

Andy Burnham announces new homes scheme for first-time buyers. Any help welcome but what about renters? No curbs on rents. Previous schemes boosted house prices. Real problem is low wages, job insecurity, high interest rates, profiteering by developers.

The transphobes leading the Labour Party decided to exclude trans women from the Labour Women’s conference. In doing so they excluded a huge number of cis women also; the venue was only 20% full. Labour needs to learn that transphobia harms everyone, including cis women, & not just trans people.
