It was exactly ten years ago today, on my 33rd birthday, that I posted this comic online.
None of this covers the real real reason. Twenty years ago, gigs were cheap promotional tools to sell expensive records. Now most people listen to music via streaming and don't buy it, records are free promotional tools for expensive gig tickets.
