I'd love to see every Democratic state and local official start a Get Tough On Wage Theft campaign. Start doing some perp walks, distribute the mug shots, toss criminal employers who steal from their employees in the slammer. And loudly point out that Republicans are "soft on crime" if they object.

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com · 8mo agoJust now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms. 3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers. 4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against. It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power. Story to come.
