im not pro-ai really by any reasonable stretch of the imagination, but hand-wringing about the "morality" of writing code, from any angle, with or without ai usage, is a little fucking ridiculous. code itself isnt moral or immoral, its literally only how that code is used that matters.

unfortunately I think Wilson is going to be a useful object lesson in why member based orgs and permanent movements are vital to the success of American socialism. it's just a massive lift to keep people invested otherwise.

I sincerely believe that men cannot handle this. women may be falling in love with their chat bots, too. But I don't think they are categorically attached to its flattery to the same degree.

genuinely think MMOs lost sight somewhere along the road of the ways that multiplayer in a shared, persistent world can be a wonder and not just a rote feature of the form
