Look, I'm grateful for your writing, @michaelblanding.bsky.social, but I don't know if it's good or bad that most of my notations on that Hobby Lobby book are 😒 and/or "that's not how that works!" and/or "sigh."
TBR next to my bed and on the shelf above my dresser. Signed books together on the dresser. Academic stuff (religion, art history) on a shelf chronologically and by topic, novels all over (mostly in the basement on shelves), kids books by type (fiction, graphic novels, picture books, non-fiction).

My kids are having a summer of sleepovers (not at my house!), so I’ve basically been parenting them one at a time all summer. The lazy parent in me likes only doing 1/3 of the work, but honestly, it’s meant some decent quality time with each kid here and there, and that’s not nothing.

Wikipedia is mostly accurate, in my experience. But it is not, itself, a source. In fact, its genius is that it cites sources for things, so that you really can use it for research *if* you check the citations yourself.

I’m hard pressed to come up with any single thing that has been studied as much as vaccines & autism (vaxx safety in general), or as debunked as a link between vaccines & autism. But even more striking is how these people clearly think autism is worse than your child getting a disease or even dying
