Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

more puzzle hunt posting: there's a kind of puzzle that in some ways i appreciate but in others i'm tired of, in which you essentially find the one person on yr team who has the skillset/interests enough to work on the puzzle, and then they ferret themselves away until an answer falls out at the end
i still suspect 'slop' started getting used so much and so often because fans of ai wanted to throw the designation back in people's faces enough through broadening the term generically derogatorily much in the same way a lot of things were getting called ai to associate it with pre-ai, useful tech

If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US. Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.
