I again must apologize for criticizing the Democratic Party, its leaders, or any of its members. They have all been doing a fantastic job, the best anyone could possibly do under the circumstances. Or their public communication doesn't matter at all. Either way, doing grear, any criticism is wrong.

Lindsey Graham spent the last decade of his life in public service as a US Senator, trying hard to be remembered as an enemy of the Constitution who worked to destroy American democracy and exhibited occasional signs that he knew why that was bad but kept doing it anyway. I will honor his choice.
Phil Plait@philplait.bsky.social · 3w agoWhen a politician dies we see a lot of hagiographies about them. If you mention they were a terrible person IRL, you get chastised. My feeling? If you don't want people to talk shit about you after you die, don't be shitty when you're alive.
I’ll share it, because I think this rampant anti-Muslim and anti-Arab bigotry is not only accepted by a dying wing of our party but being used to win primaries (see Abdul). It’s on us to see it, shun it, and protect our coalition.
