Feel very genuinely bad for ZA/UM workers getting laid off after they were put in a no-win situation Also think it's deeply silly people on here are guilting consumers for not buying the new game like it's an audience's responsibility to keep a studio with PR/goodwill in the gutter afloat

i am very, very open for work at the moment and very good at mock reviewing/consultancy. my feedback is more dev-centric than most and generally revolves around aspects of game design which are often left out of other mock reviews (frame data, balance, and other fundamentals of feel and design).

Hi! My incredibly talented friend and games critic Renata Price (prev. Waypoint/Kotaku/Fanbyte, currently Crit Build) is looking for mock review/consulting work if you know anyone who might be interested! Reach out to ren(at)critbuild(dot)org if interested. Shares appreciated!

I have released my level scripting i/o system, it's called JoeIO and it works great for me and at work but it's early so be gentle and just holler if you come across any weirdness. An explanatory video is below www.joewintergreen.com/joeio-a-leve...

I spent some of this week making an I/O system for level scripting in Unreal for @sleightofhand.game! I have long had thoughts on why these kick ass. Here's an unusually long blog post on: -why these kick ass -why they are necessary -how mine works -etc etc www.joewintergreen.com/i-o-systems-...

They'll start getting angry at people outside the group, saying they don't understand why those people don't hate you. They'll say things like "I feel like I'm going crazy, why doesn't anyone see it?!" And it's like, dude, you're listening to a liar and the rest of us all know it lol

if you design monitors please just give them a power button, im begging you. You can have the weird little joystick thing for menus too as long as you give me a clicky button that turns it on and off with a single press
