Trump: "If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate...I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000."

I seem to remember him being tickled to realize he had the tallest building in NY now on some news call in segment. I mean... fuck this guy, he has always fucking sucked and I don't care, but this feels like elder abuse in a way too, and all of it is intolerable on every fucking level.

Trump on 9/11: "I just thank my people. I was building a big building in New York & I took the whole crew down there right after this happened & they had no hesitation. Everybody went down with me... we thought it was coming down on top of us... two fireman lifted me up and started running with me"

This will not be great for Sam if it goes in hard on him. There are a lot of skeletons in his past. He’s clearly a serial con man and he’s hoping to get that IPO off the ground. I’m not saying that one feature film is gonna take him down, but I expect most people don’t really know his story.

First teaser trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s 'Artificial' Starring Andrew Garfield as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman In theaters Christmas Day

On this Labor Day, let us remember that it wasn’t the CEOs and billionaires who saved us during COVID-19. It was the janitors, nurses, cleaning crews, grocery and food workers with their hard, often invisible labor.

Sorry y’all, ChatGPT is down so I’m currently unable to think or make decisions. Hopefully it comes back online soon, I’m in the middle of my first novel and hope to have it finished today.

Given the 1Password thing, and a whole bunch of other questionable things done by the tech industry, is there a list maintained anywhere of ethical tech companies? If someone goes to the huge effort and risk of migrating password managers, for instance, how do they know which alternative(s) are OK?

in the library i hear this noise that sounds identical to furtive jerking off. start looking around mad as hell like who is jerking off in the damn library right now. but the sound is actually some girl furiously scrolling on a mouse wheel and she looks PISSED. whatever it is babe i hope you find it

The person in the video (to be clear not Justin, Justin is awesome) would have you believe that the only way to learn is the "traditional" method of someone lecturing in front of a blackboard. A method that does not work for everyone. Everyone learns differently. Stop gate keeping tech.

This is such a bad take. As much as I like home labs and Kubernetes I'm not going to subscribe to channels that dictate how people should learn or think "grown men" are the only type of person who should be learning technology youtube.com/watch?v=7EpY...
