Public Domain Art is the lifeblood of small tabletop rpgs, but it can be a nightmare trying to find the right art and license. This week, I’ve re-uploaded my old list from 2020 (with updates) of public domain websites. That's 500,000+ public domain paintings, photos, maps, and film. Link below 🔗👇

My 15 year old kitten Katze died today, I loved that little thing so so much, she was the sweetest cat i've ever known. She was so loving and playful and I'm so happy I got to spend so much of my life with her <3 and I will miss her so much 💔

Switching between the artist bubble here and tech bubble at work is giving me such whiplash in regards to Ai. It's two completely different worlds. Just came home from a conference where the keynote speaker compared llms to the discovery of fire 💀

everyone's an adult what even is happening lol. we turned into such a child civilization, having imbibed only the media and philosophy for children and anyone who remembered the adult world has long since died. eternal adolsecence.

Kickstarter officially banning adult content now. Knew this was coming, but it still sucks to have yet another part of the internet that I've been explicitly evicted from. Digital gentrification is exhausting.

Screenshot of Kickstarter's new rules against mature content, in which everything pornographic is banned. It's a long document that's formatted in a way that I can't copy and paste all the text that's in it, but the first is that all point and anything sexual is now banned.

EVERY artist absolutely ADORES art made people who are not trained. We all look at it with absolute joy because it feels like the purest art that's possible. We have all this training, but with it comes a lack of purity, and we spend our entire lives in futility trying to achieve that purity again.

People who use AI to make images on their behalf have no idea how much their actual art would be loved not just by normal people, but also the artists they're stealing from by using it.

Oh god I gotta hurry up reading the rest of witch hat atelier D: with the anime airing there's just an onslaught of spoilery fanart happening atm, aaa! Hints! Hints everywhere! The sleeper cell fandom is waking up
