That "men should be allowed, without judgement or consequence, to do an amount of harm to women and girls that I personally deem acceptable" seems to be a genuine opinion still held by too many people in the year two thousand and twenty six is incredibly grim
I don’t think-in fact-it's a bit of banter for a man to ask a woman he's working with unprompted to fuck a colleague and I don't really think this context changes if they're all musicians and I don't think it's down to Americans being 0 craic while I'm here what the fuck are we doing here
If you want to go on a blocking spree (always recommended), search “Neko Case” and find the guys talking about how much they think she is full of it at this very moment & block precipitously. Then pity their wives & children.
If someone was aggressive and unpleasant to people they didn’t know / never met, but also really nice to their close friends, I’m not sure the second thing makes the first thing OK. It’s a bit of a low fucking bar, to be honest. It’s hardly worth celebrating. “Was nice to eight selected people.”
Next time someone asks you the bad faith question “Have any women come forward?”, here you are.
