This is the abuser’s playbook. Present a bunch of times your victim appeared “happy” and “normal” as evidence you couldn’t be abusive, even though it does nothing to disprove the claims and is in fact the textbook response to abuse, especially when a child is involved.

Trump admin changes are slowly suffocating the nonprofits that support victims of gender-based violence. It's Vanessa Lantz's job to inform callers that all resources are taken: “They’re just like, ‘I don’t even know if I’m going to be alive by the end of this weekend.'" 19thnews.org/2026/07/san-...

keep thinking about the evil of this. It's not just destroying the physical books, bad as that is. They are trying to remove the underpinnings of knowledge, destroy all the accumulated wisdom - and silliness, and creativity, and whatever else humans have thought worthy of writing down.

I am once again begging Hollywood to stop using the Greek alphabet for an Ancient World movie, if they can't afford to even throw a couple of quid at anyone with an inkling of the language. Unless they really think audiences are dying to see THS THDPSSSSPS

I kept asking about the money. There are the criminal and civil charges but is there a path forward to claw back all the money they have stolen. No good answer to that and even the progressives in room balked at idea of touching his *money*. So that dashed my hopes lol

They're continuing to kill people because this administration has told them that the people they're apprehending -- and those who defend them -- deserve violence, that no amount of violence is too much, and that no matter how egregious the abuse, they'll never be held accountable.
