Excited to share a new paper on transformative statecraft. We start from a critique of the compensation consensus in climate politics/political science. Compensating losers works – plenty of evidence for that. But when the goal is transformation (not reform), we need to think about mobilization. 🧵

Man sieht auch absolut keinen Rechtsruck unter Arbeiter:innen, wenn man Rechts-Links-Positionierungen anschaut. Der Teil der Arbeiterklasse, der vorher schon rechts war, hat in der AfD eine Partei gefunden. Linke Arbeiter wurden dagegen vergessen und demobilisiert.

Einschätzung als Arbeiter passiert. Verwendet man objektive Daten über Berufe ist die AfD keineswegs bei Arbeitern am stärksten. Hier mit Parteinähe und Daten des ESS.
