I know folks mean well however repeating the idea that "trans rights are not in opposition to women's rights" feeds subconsciously into the idea that trans women aren't really women. Trans women's right are women's rights.

The Green Party's lack of an official statement on the EHRC code coming into effect today and instead posting this is incredibly tone deaf. You should know better than to take the votes of marginalised groups for granted, you WILL lose support if you continue to sweep trans people under the rug.
There a million things wrong with the EHRC guidance, as you all know, but for me the weirdest thing about it all is that its authors don't even seem to be aware of the possibility that someone asked to leave a "single sex" facility might refuse.
We will not comply with the EHRC 'guidance', and neither should you. Take action for trans liberation.
