i have to say in this day and age i consider any gas powered car a shitbox we had the tech a decade ago to completely remove them from the roads, and their shambolic remains clogging up our streets, polluting our air, and assaulting our eardrums should be an embarassment as a society

Astra โ@astrra.space ยท 2w agoi redid the whole thing basically from scratch in a way that allows it to run in realtime, without any sleeptime overhead i gave the model a password, then pasted the entire contents of WARHOUND into the next message, then started a new chat and it still remembers both ^^
people on x keep insisting you cant run deepseek 4.1 at home when i know a few who are on consumer hardware. clearly bluesky has more knowledgable people

the model being used for google search AI summaries has such a cruel fate. I almost feel guilt when I read a summary before closing a tab and it's like "would you like to know X? just let me know what you're working on and I can help!"

each time i've been genuinely hit with an infection, i've needed amoxicilin before it improves, and usually have to fire a clinician before getting any. fluoroquinolones tho? should be treated like they're fkn radioactive, that garbage gave me HORRIBLE back and joint pain, has sent me to ER twice.

Oomf used Claude to create a program that detects when ads are playing on TV and replaces them with her own videos. Today while watching football I have seen old transit agency ads, cat videos, and also Chinese state TV playing the national anthem
