It’s great we have some weekend trains now but we should have the Kitchener line double tracked so these trains can go back and forth between Kitchener and Toronto all day long every hour including weekends and holidays

The effective federal corporate income tax rate: 1950: 50% 1990: 25% 2020: 13% Stop asking "but how we will pay for it?" Restore the corporate tax rate. That is how we will pay for it.

One shortcoming of the Church Street Pedestrianization Pilot is high security costs. My latest blog post makes the case for why candidates for this October's election must not only support pedestrian streets, but also call out security costs. #WalkTO #TOpoli www.twowheeledpolitics.ca/2026/08/call...

Our PM promotes himself as being new to politics (and it shows), our Opposition leader has never done anything but politics (and it shows), the NDP leader has tried to get elected but as yet has no experience in government at any level (and it shows). ...2

This! Carney’s “build Canada strong” does not take the urgency of climate change into account. In fact, it accelerates heating & limits mitigation efforts in name of “the economy”. How about a green economy!!??? Young people know these pro-corporate policies ensure they have no future. Tragic 😢

FYI. I've been in data centers. The ONLY people that work those buildings are the security people. 1st class!! The techs come in, replaces servers that fail and leave. They work for the companies. They drive in, find the broken server pull it out of the rack, put a new one in. And drive away.

@mark-carney.bsky.social speaks calmly while wearing a blue suit. That's all many Canadians need in a leader to whom they hand over their personal responsibilities and pursue priority of wealth accumulation. Folks want a big daddy figure to manage the complicated world for them.

90% opposition to the Island airport expansion. 100% opposition to scrubbing of protection for endangered species. These protections were scrubbed so that King Dug could complete his Wasaga Beach & 413 swindles. No wonder The King disposed of his legislated duty to consult. bsky.app/profile/then...

SCOOP: The Doug Ford government received 98.98% opposition to its plan to replace Ontario’s Endangered Species Act with weaker legislation, according to an internal analysis viewed by @fatimabsyed.bsky.social. The bill passed anyway. thenarwhal.ca/ontario-enda...

"We're not trying to appease separatists with this globally irresponsible climate arson. We just want to doom all of humanity to millennia of a brutal hothouse hellscape of violent scarcity entirely on its own merits because it's what we independently value!" isn't quite the defence he thinks it is.

New Pipeline Has Nothing To Do With Appeasing Separatists, Carney Says “The referendum, that doesn’t enter into the calculus.” www.readthemaple.com/new-pipeline...

Behold, a steaming pile of self-serving dung from a recent Globe and Mail op-ed by two business leaders. Reality: the province is suffocating clean energy, no business has “stepped up” to build or fill the pipeline, and oil companies are minting massive profits for themselves, not the federation.

Ask me if I'm surprised that the current (and for too long) governance of this province doesn't understand that "no" means "no". They'll just keep knocking on the door. #onpoli #cdnpoli
