Ho@karenho.bsky.social · 3w agoon the bright side, it's kind of awesome that so many people are talking about THE ODYSSEY, the translation the movie is based on, the translator's own thoughts in the LRB, and what a big, ambitious film can mean in a market oversaturated with movies about superheroes and nostalgia for old titles
RE: ESPN. Layoffs will continue because the greatest business model in the world...cable/satellite fees from homes that never watched...is never coming back. It has nothing to do with insisting on talking about the Dallas Cowboys in the middle of July or McAfee.
