Here is a four-day tracked timelapse showing a sad scene for aurora chasers: many many M-flares and some X-flares from AR 4366 without much of any CMEs... We saw a small eruption with the X8.1 and nothing really notable since then. The magnetic cage is in action!
I agree that "opsec" is often used a shibboleth in leftist spaces to justify gatekeeping. At the same time, prosecutors move slowly and they WILL raid your fucking house out of the blue a year later. Don't assume the feds are stupid or not paying attention just because "everyone's been out there".
