This film exemplifies why romcoms died out. It wasn’t a lack of audience. It was the fact that studios had no desire to create or release something they deemed frivolous. The only worth they can find in romcoms is if they do things like this: dress up a dystopian fucking nightmare as a romcom.

live nation is actively killing publications that cover new artists while also promoting festivals that almost exclusively cater to nostalgia and legacy acts. these problems are not unrelated.

My appt was at 6am on Monday, I was home just after 7am. There's no recovery except catching up on the sleep you missed. So, if you need a nudge to get yours, this is it!
