The Little Giant fire near Manson, WA spotted over a mile across Lake Chelan. That fire was HOT all day yesterday. It also burned the craziest place I ever landed in a helicopter. An old Vietnam pilot put me down in the tightest confined space I've seen. want a story time thread? /1

Feeling like the luckiest folks in the world right now. Somehow we won the house lottery. Just had an in-person tour of the house we agreed to buy after only a video tour, it is so great. Better than we thought. Once again LOVING the vibe in medford. Its going to be hard to go back to boise tuesday.

Here’s an overview of current evacuatuions in Spokane County. It’s pretty gobsmacking. Most of these areas are suburban neighborhoods.
