Like I spent the entire campaign expecting AIPAC to somehow dig up my middle school livejournal fanfic account. I prepared my family for it. I’m still amazed it didn’t happen.

I think it's incredibly telling that when an American with a huge platform says it's the world's job to fix the US, and non-Americans respond with anger, the mentions immediately fill up with Americans jerking themselves off and joking about how little the rest of us matter to them.
The way you solve this is by giving teenagers somewhere to socialize IN REAL LIFE - they’ve been kicked out of malls, the price of everything is prohibitive, of course they’re on social media. Every single time these gripes are a policy failure and we slip into stupid fascism to solve it.
