I’m sitting next to @holyspokes.bsky.social, who got up, turned her chair backwards and sat down again. Without missing a beat, I asked, “are you bisexual?” I had to explain the joke, which she’d never heard. I knew the real reason she turned the chair: sitting comfortably while pregnant is hard.

Another autonomous truck with no driver. I read about these all the time but I have never seen one. Odd.

The owner of the Portland building that houses ICE says city leaders are unconstitutionally penalizing him for his choice of tenants. “This code enforcement case is a textbook example of unlawful selective enforcement with a clear discriminatory motive and unlawful political retaliation."

Went to the Save RIPTA retreat earlier today to talk about strategies for rebuilding our transit system and it’s helpful to be around other people working for the same thing at a time where good things are just being decimated all over.

Helped install planters on N Main St right before Olney St. in Providence, RI. These help keep cars from driving illegally, making it safer for everyone on the street.

It took 9 months to plan and 24 hrs to give birth to these planter babies! Thanks to my amazing co-parent @dylancgiles.bsky.social! Hoping to do this in many more locations around PVD.
