Film Pick: THE SAMURAI AND THE PRISONER. Directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa Starring Masahiro Motoki, Masaki Suda, Yuriko Yoshitaka Enjoyed the slow burn & build up in this film… I suggest seeing it on a big screen. More thoughts on the film to come. Check local listings for screening times.

some interesting takeaways here. streetcars have gotten slower generally, but the routes with dedicated rights of way fared a lot better than mixed traffic routes, so traffic congestion still is a very big contributor to slow speeds, besides the LF streetcar issues
