People are understandably angry, and it’s going to take strong leadership to heal those divisions. This will be his first real challenge as the nominee.

I’m telling you this as a political scientist. The person who is electable is the one who is elected. This can and does change over time. Any and all speculation about “electability” is either puffery or anxiety and is often both.
