I realized today that the only AI I interact with is against my will. I don't really understand any of this. Is ChatGPT a place on the internet? Don't tell me. I don't care and I don't want to know. I think the is the hill I'll never find that I'm gonna die on.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I enjoyed The Odyssey (2026) but I have one historical nitpick. The phrase “Jiminy Christmas” is a minced oath for “Jesus Christ”. As the story is set around 1200 B.C. it is unlikely that Odysseus would have said the phrase even once, let alone the dozens of times he says it in the film
