New way to discredit anyone you dislike (rich people only): Get some AI company to pollute their search with a false accusation like this. Or just fake a bunch of articles written with AI and post them on trash sites, and the rabid public, already delegating their thinking to AI, will devour it.

IQ tests tend to measure a set of "skills" that your brain may be naturally good at. I tested extremely high on pattern recognition, very high on one other metric, and slightly above average on everything else. When I was 6. Didn't graduate from college though, which tells you how much that means.

IQ is a measure of how good you are at IQ tests, which is something informed by how familiar you are with taking academic tests (& thus the quality of your school, which is in part determined by your parents' wealth, etc). there's nothing in particular that makes them a good test of intelligence
