I said this in replies elsewhere, but I want to say it loudly here. Anything other than a fullthroated affirmation of birthright citizenship in this country by SCOTUS is an act of treason. It is grounds for immediate impeachment. It is a violation of every oath they have made.
The MAGA dipshits (at least, in my area) are gonna be madder at the downstream effect of this - goodbye plastic bags and hello paper straws - than any of the other ruinous, immoral and illegal shit they've done.

Here's my bottom line: Much of what they are doing is bad. Much of what they are doing is unpopular. Pushback is working. We are winning. Keep fighting. Be creative. Push for what you'd want. Allow for insiders and outsiders. Realize that change takes time. Reduce harm in the meantime.
