The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. Sorry, I can't reply to DMs.

The town I grew up in during the late 90's used to have a couple of youth clubs, decent health centre, well kept park & after 14 years of tories its got nothing. A high street covered in tatty flags & everyone is (of course) angry as fuck. Yet they all think uberTory Farage is the answer

Last week South West Water were fined £8m for >200 sewage discharges in Devon & Cornwall over a 5 year period. Their mantra is “1 pollution is too many”. In the first 11 weeks of 2026, water companies had already dumped over 69,000 hours of sewage into bathing waters. ENOUGH. Public ownership now.

Photo of George Monbiot accompanying a quote from The Guardian, July 2025: "Instead of borrowing to pay for infrastructure improvement, water companies borrowed to pay for dividends. Just as the water companies dump their sewage in the rivers, they have also dumped their liabilities on the public. The country becomes their dustbin."

Shhh you might upset the Zionist terrorist regime. Navi Pillay is in the same class as Francesca Albanese - strong and yes courageous women who speak truth to the world. Something that Starmer and now Burnham don’t have the decency or guts to do.

"The last thing I did is the report on Gaza naming what is happening there as genocide. One of the main reactions to that report [was] paying tribute to me for my courage.. why would you need courage to speak the truth?" Navi Pillay upon winning the 2026 Nobel peace prize

Turns out that people everywhere want political parties that work for them and not the monied interests.

If the @greenparty.org.uk, @zackpolanski.bsky.social and all the current (and former elected politicians) who do not get behind the recent wave of members and voters, then look forward to going back to 1 MP with no more grassroot support Then see how much power you have youtu.be/hge1qdUGSbY?...

Former Labour MP Tom Watson is calling people power against Palantir "mob rule" while defending its NHS deal, despite the tech giant's reliance on lobbying, and lavish perks...

Up to 60 red-listed curlew roosted on the Cambois data centre site: 15% of the number Northumberland Shore SSSI was designated for (found in QTS's own surveys). Now it's being cleared. Mitigation: just £40k to extend a council wader site already created for another development in 2014.

It's not just the endless bill increases. It's not just that 1/3 of your bill goes to paying shareholder dividends and servicing debt. It's not just the 1/2 million sewage discharges in one year. It's the corrupt system, which rewards water bosses for failure, that people can't stand.

Tomorrow marks one year since the sham of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza was signed. Sold as a way to halt the Israeli military’s endless killing, the results of this “ceasefire” have been the Israeli military killing or wounding at least one Palestinian every 90 minutes.

The media is platforming pressure for Polansky to stand down as Green Leader after losing an election The same media that said nothing when Farage lost many elections

Isn’t it strange how, when you start being paid by private companies instead of elected by the public, the people become the “mob”? Palantir’s record deserves scrutiny – from politicians and the public. https://bit.ly/47avtHW
