After targeting trans sports under Title IX for the past 4 years, the Heritage Foundation is now turning to destroying it for all women. It wants to replace women's varsity sports with yoga and "protect women's fertility" by ending many athletic opportunities. Subscribe to support our journalism.
It’s worth noting that Taco Bell identified the source before the FDA did, and promptly pulled it from their stores. The FDA didn’t even name the source until Taylor Farms outed themselves, and hasn’t issued a recall. Basically, Taco Bell is now a more reliable authority than the FDA.
Taylor Farms, which supplies major fast food and grocery chains, was identified as the possible source of the cyclosporiasis outbreak Thursday.

I read the article articles and watched the videos, but genuinely nothing prepared me for this. This is unbelievable. My perspective comes from years of working live events across the country. I’ve worked county fairs that were 1,000x better than the Great American State Fair. It’s really bad.
I finally made it to the Great American State Fair. The columns on this fake building are something to behold.

"This is something we humans do to the dead. We use them to explain systems they did not build and failures they did not survive. A fallen soldier is made to speak for policy. A sodden bird becomes a commentary on federal competence and the condition of a backsliding democracy."
Good morning. We're starting the day angry. Exhibits on COVID-19 masking and health equity have been papered over at CDC's David J. Sencer Museum. This admin prefers to whitewash history. Let’s never stop telling the truth, defending evidence, and holding power accountable.

NEW: Texas middle schoolers could be taught about a Christian revolutionary war movement that never existed. The so-called “Black Robe Regiment” is a favorite myth of David Barton and other Christian nationalists who are leading massive revisions of Texas curricula to focus on US “exceptionalism.”
Scholars Call the Black Robe Regiment a Myth. It Could Soon Be Taught in Texas Schools.
The State Board of Education meets this week to vote on a K–12 curriculum some experts warn elevates Christianity over other faiths.
