While busy with disaster response operations, I made the mistake of staring at today's SCOTUS decisions. I am now firmly moved to support Court reforms that save our country from a quest to institute a monarch. G. Washington would be appalled on all this landing on our 250th anniversary week.
Tacit knowledge--the practical know-how that humans learn only through experience--is illegible to AI. There is no good way to write it down. One has to learn it. It appears that Ford management wanted to ignore the value of practical knowledge to save money. Predictably, it backfired.
