How we treat women in general. There’s still a billion miles ahead of us, but there’s been so much progress in terms of harassment in the workplace, women leaders treated like secretaries, rampant and open misogyny and sexism. Also we can have our own credit cards and bank accounts now. 🙃

In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.
