My all time favorite shot in any Kamen Rider series is the one in Build where they use a projector on a staircase behind a suit actor to do a shonen anime “guy monologues in front of the flashback” sequence. It’s such an elegant solution for such a cool effect, which is what toku’s all about.

Pretty sure much of the team must've been novices. The way that it was written, structured, and sounded was very rough, unlike any TV anime I've seen before.
