I make games and collect hobbies, currently obsessed with miniature painting. Some kind of trans. Occasional coffee making posts since I do it like 40 hours a week. https://jotull.itch.io/

The SCREEN Act just failed to pass in the Senate Commerce Committee! 🎉 Enormous thanks to the thousands (!!) of you who told your Senators to vote no! Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

There's a type of parasocial attachment that doesn't get talked about where people latch on to a game (Star Citizen and Zomboid are two great examples) and hook up their dopamine system to whether they feel the devs are or are not making the game specifically for them. Bethesda gets it a lot, too.

The Odyssey is a movie which is based on a book that's based on Greek History. Being based on history, many scenes are based on battles which actually took place in Ancient Greece. So here's this Giant Enemy Cyclops. Odysseus here will flip over this Cyclops and attack him for massive damage.

I was told you couldn't do 3D on the Playdate, so I did it. Then I was told there was no way I could create exterior levels like those in Mirror's Edge, so I proved them wrong again.
