I would still prefer he take the right side on this, because I am not a big baby and as someone with a child with some who immigrated to the UK, I have a personal stake in people of mixed origin not being othered.
It sucks that people have goldfish memories for this shit and no ability to think through consequences. So many stories about "oh I didn't think my local *nice* immigrant would be caught up in this, I thought it was just the masses of movie bad guys invading the US who would go"

no, it is the other way around. if you are looking at D+14 (or D+12 or +10 or even +8) generic ballot then there is basically no point in trying to tamper with anything. you are going to lose, the only ? is how bad it is going to be. it's when the election is *tight* that tampering makes sense.
